Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect during my first session?

For your treatment, come dressed in loose, comfortable clothes. We’ll review your medical history and take a reading of your postural analysis. After we pinpoint your specific problem, we begin your Robotic Therapy (RT) session by administering gentle pressure in intervals to a specific area of a muscle. Using pressure with precision will relax and lengthen muscle fibers.

Other treatments haven’t helped me in the past, what’s different about using a robot?

Robotic Therapy (RT) focuses on muscular issues utilizing a robotic arm. This arm is able to administer up to 30 pounds of interval pressure to a specific area of the muscle. A therapist will never be able to exert 30 pounds of precise pressure for 1-2 hours to a specific muscle. It’s humanly impossible.
Pain, muscle tension and lack of mobility is caused when muscles are contracted and shortened. This is where RT technology stands out. The robotic arm applies pressure to lengthen muscle fibers back to their proper state. This lengthening allows tension to be taken off the bone structure and nerves, thus greatly increasing mobility and decreasing pain. At Robotic Wellness we are combining decades of massage therapy, knowledge of muscle anatomy, and hands-on experience addressing chronic muscular issues with the “precision” that only robotic technology can provide.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

You do not! Feel free to schedule whenever and as often as needed.

Do we accept insurance?

No. However, we will gladly provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your insurance provider. Additionally, we also accept FSA/ HSA.

Can I benefit from a RT session even if I am not injured?

Yes! An RT Session can help maintain muscular health, improve mobility and improve athletic performance.
